Irina Bogdanova is a young Russian soprano, who obtained her Bachelor's degree in 2018 from the Hochschule für Musik und Theater Hamburg (with Prof. Carolyn James). She is continuing her Master studies at the Hochschule für Musik „Hanns Eisler" with Anna Samuil Irina Bogdanova has performed Rosalinde/ Die Fledermaus and Fiordiligi/ Così fan tutte in student productions as well as Mutter in Samuel Hogarth's Zwerg Nase at the Staatsoper Hamburg and most recently Pamina/ Die kleine Zauberflöte with Theater Kiel.

Irina won the Grand Prix at the „Triomphe de l'Art" Competition 2019 in Bruxelles, the „Giovanni- Turcotti"-Prize at „Valsesia Musica international competition 2019" in Varallo, first Prize at Gustav- Mahler-Wettbewerb 2018, first Prize at the Mozart Competition 2018 (Absalom-Stiftung) and at the "Maritim Musikpreis 2017". She reached the finals at the "Bundeswettbewerb Gesang 2018" and the Salice d'Oro Competition 2019.

Irina was a scholarship recipient of the Giovanni-Omodeo-Stiftung, the Berenberg Kulturstiftung, the Yehudi Menuhin Live Music Now e.V. and the Johannes-Brahms-Stiftung Hamburg.

As a passionate concert singer Irina Bogdanova has appeared at the Elbphilharmonie Hamburg, in St. Petri Church Hamburg, in the Vier-Länder-Konzert Rostock, broadcast by NDR, a.o.
